Do you have the fastest weenie in the area?
It is time to sign your wieners up for the Doxie Derby at the Whiskers, Wags, & Shopping Bags event on Saturday, May 3rd! The first race begins at noon, but all racers must be registered by Monday, April 28th. $20 registration fee goes to our fundraising efforts, and each racer will receive a bandana with their racing number on it!

what is it?
Whiskers, Wags, & Shopping Bags is Food, Fun, and Fundraising with Fido to kick start May! We are kicking our Annual Block Party up a notch and taking over Mill Street. You can also visit the new Market on Mill Retail Plaza that opens the same day! Restaurants, vendors, games, fundraising opportunities, demonstrations--even Doxie Derby weenie race! The event runs from 11am-4pm!
why do we do it?
Every year, our block party not only gets a slew of friendly dogs and their humans to hang out in one spot, but we get to raise money for local low cost/free spay/neuter and microchip programs at the same time! As of the end of 2024, No Animal Left Behind has raised over $70,000 for non-profits that provide these services--our Annual Block Party keeps that going.

We have so much planned for Whiskers, Wags, & Shopping Bags 2025! Sign your Weenie Dog up for the Races; shop your way through all of the vendors and businesses! Play games like the classic Cheese Ball toss! Make art with your pup that you can take home. Grab some lunch from one of Utica's great dining spots and dine with your pup outside! Win big at the Live Auction! Schedule will be up soon.
